Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the Rascal mobile application (the “App”) handles information. It is intended to meet common Google Play and Apple App Store disclosure expectations. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who this applies to
This policy applies to users of the App on Android and iOS. The “developer” or “we” refers to the entity identified in your app store listing as the publisher of Rascal.
2. Information we process
Depending on how you use the App, we or our service providers may process:
- App settings and preferences (for example language or sound options) stored on your device using platform-supported local storage.
- Diagnostics and crash data to improve stability, via Google Firebase Crashlytics (or equivalent services we enable). This can include device type, operating system version, crash logs, and related technical identifiers as described in Google’s Firebase disclosures.
- Gameplay-related data needed to operate features you use (for example content delivery or caching). This is generally not used to identify you personally unless you later sign in to a feature that requires an account.
3. Third-party services
The App uses Google Firebase components such as Firebase Core, Cloud Firestore for app content where applicable, and Firebase Crashlytics. Google processes data according to its policies. You can review Google’s Privacy Policy and Firebase documentation for details.
4. Children
The App is not directed at children under the age required by your region to consent to data processing on their own. If you believe we have collected personal information from a child in error, contact us as described below and we will take appropriate steps.
5. Retention and security
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the data.
6. Your choices and rights
Depending on your region (for example the EEA, UK, or certain U.S. states), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information, or to object to certain processing. You can often exercise device-level controls (such as limiting analytics or resetting the App’s local data). For requests we must handle directly, use the contact methods below.
7. International transfers
Firebase and related infrastructure may process data in countries other than your own. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards described by Google.
8. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will adjust the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or store listing where appropriate.
9. Contact
For privacy questions, email yasinertekinn@outlook.com, use the contact option in the App, or contact us through your app store account where the platform provides developer messaging.
